So this dress is fully chiffon.
Its just a bunch of layers--mostly on the bottom so its less sheer in the lower region.
I had a great time making it :) It took me about two evenings to finish!

Hey lady! ... Nah I don't put DIY's on the blog, but I can let you know what I chose to do. I don't have much training so every peace is a learning process. I did a lot of draping to create the opaque lower half and did minimal sewing. I also used a black elastic band for the waist and made sure all of the fabric was wrapped then sewn below.. not attached to the elastic. That way it can be adjusted.
